SEPA instant is coming
SEPA instant payments are coming....
SEPA instant is a new payment system that allows for near real-time Euro transfers across Europe. This means that when you send money using SEPA instant, the recipient receives it within seconds.
The SEPA instant payments regulation comes into effect in 2025, with a staged roll-out planned.

📆 From 9th January 2025, your Affinity Credit Union savings accounts will be able to receive SEPA instant transfers from other payment service providers.
📆 Later in 2025 (certainly by 9th October) you will be able to send SEPA instant transfers from your Affinity Credit Union account. We'll keep you updated on that.
SEPA stands for Single Euro Payments Area. A SEPA payment is sent through the SEPA Scheme. The SEPA payment scheme was created to simplify international euro transfers between EU member states. SEPA instant is an enhanced version of this scheme.
