Cashel Lions Club Young Person of the Year 2023

The Cashel Lion's Club have announced the winner of their Young Person of the Year award for 2023:

"Congratulations to Nora O'Brien, Boscabell, Cashel who was selected as Cashel Young Person of the Year 2023 following a selection process which concluded with interviews in Cashel Community School on Thursday November 16th. Nora impressed the interviewing panel with her range of active community involvement.
Nora is a youth officer with Cashel Comhaltas, an active member of the Student Council in Cashel Community School and a member of a number of local choirs. She enjoys traditional music and is proud to have helped organise a fundraiser for Ukraine in 2022.
Nora was presented with the Affinity Credit Union Young Person of the Year Perpetual Trophy by Ian Shelly from Affinity Credit Union Cashel. The Credit Union also generously sponsored a cash prize for the Cashel Young Person of the Year Competition.
Nora will now represent Cashel Lions Club in the Young Ambassador of the 21st Century Competition which will take place in January 2024.
