Affinity Credit Union have teamed up with FEXCO to bring a foreign currency exchange service to our members, offering competitive exchange rates.
Our foreign currency exchange service is available to all our members in the following branches:

• Affinity Credit Union Ltd., Ballymahon
• Affinity Credit Union Ltd., Cashel
• Affinity Credit Union Ltd., Greenfields Cross
• Affinity Credit Union Ltd., Monaleen

PLEASE NOTE: Our Foreign Exchange service is not available in our Parnell St. branch.
Members may be requested to present up to date proof of identity and proof of address information when exchanging currency. Please ensure you have these documents with you when calling to the office.

Ordering Foreign Currencies

We may have a small stock of Sterling and US dollars available in the office, as these are our most commonly exchanged currencies. However, we would ask that members check in advance or simply order online through the Fexco Click & Collect service.

Click & Collect Service

There is the ability to order over 40 currencies with no commission fee if you order your currency online. Once you order before 11am your currency would normally be available the next working day.

Ensure you select the correct Affinity Credit Union branch from the drop-down when ordering and to take note of the opening hours.

You can pay by cash or card for your currency when you collect your foreign exchange in branch.

• Select the amount of the currency you wish to order
• Use your membership number as the reference
• Ensure you select the correct Affinity Credit Union branch as the location for collection
• Enter your personal details for the confirmation
• Complete the security question
• Place the Order

Fexco will provide email and SMS updates as soon as your order is in-branch and ready for collection. All currencies are normally ready for collection within two days but some exotic currencies can take up to seven days.

Exchanging Foreign Currencies

Affinity Credit Union can also exchange member’s foreign currency notes and cheques for euro through our Fexco partners.

Simply call into our offices or contact us to see if your foreign currency is eligible for exchange with us.

Important
Affinity Credit Union does not buy or sell foreign currency coins.

Exchange of foreign cheques is limited to US Dollar, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar and Great British Pound with a minimum exchange value of €10. Cheques must be dated within the last 6 months. Maximum values apply.

Exchange of foreign notes is limited to the currency (40+ currencies), and to the date of issue/version.
